About Us
Ancaster Village Nursery & Forest School is situated in beautiful rural Ancaster, Lincolnshire, within easy reach to Sleaford, Caythorpe, Cranwell and just 15 minutes from Grantham centre.
The Nursery offers quality childcare for children aged from 6 weeks old, in a home from home, safe and fun environment, with a team of experienced, highly skilled and caring childcare professionals including a qualified Forest School leader.
The Nursery consists of three age specific rooms all leading onto their own outdoor patios and gardens with play space for all weathers. The garden is surrounded by open fields housing horses and rabbits, a place where the children love to watch and say hello to the animals next door.

Our Story at Ancaster Village Nursery & Forest School
Ancaster Village Nursery & Forest School was founded with a simple yet powerful vision—to create a nurturing, homely space where children can learn, grow, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Inspired by the natural beauty of our village setting, we set out to build a home-from-home environment where little explorers could thrive. From our earliest days, we have embraced curiosity-based learning, outdoor play, and a warm, supportive atmosphere that feels like family. Today, our nursery continues to provide a caring foundation for children to develop confidence, independence, and a sense of awe and wonder in the world around them.
